16th Annual Junior High Ski Trip!

Time to get ready for the great annual ski trip!  Sign up now for the 16th Annual Junior High Ski Trip to Giant's Ridge in Biwabik (north of Duluth) on March 3rd -March 5th, 2006. We will leave from St. Stephen's on Friday, March 3 at 4:30 pm and return Sunday, March 5 by approximately 8:00 pm. This event, sponsored by St. Stephen's, is attended by 6th-9th graders all across the diocese and the Twin Cities metro area. The weekend includes a great trip on chartered buses, fun and fellowship with other junior high students, a great dorm to sleep in (four to a room with your own bathroom), a great location on the hill with lifts located right out of the doors, worship and prayer together, and great skiing - the US ski team used to train here! So invite your friends, whether they are members of our parish or not!

Package deals are available for snowboarding, downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. All three packages include:

• 2 days of skiing
• lodging for two nights
• 5 meals plus snacks throughout the weekend
• VCR movies (G and PG-rated)
• transportation

You will need to provide money for food while in transit on Friday and coming home on Sunday. Also, you will need money for any snacks or pop you might wish to purchase in the chalet, above and beyond what is provided for the weekend.

Package costs are as follows:

• Snowboarding: $250.00 (inclusing snowboard rental) or $225.00 (bring your own board)
• Downhill: $240.00 (including ski rental) or $225.00 (bring your own skis)
• Cross-Country: $200.00
