Five-O Outdoor BBQs
Don't worry about what to cook for dinner on Sunday nights this summer! Come for the Five-0 service at 5:00pm and then join us for BBQ dinner of hot dogs and hamburgers on the lawn following the service. Outdoor dinner will begin June in and end August 23.

Fourth of July Parade
Join us on Saturday, July 4 for the annual Edina Fourth of July Parade starting at 10:00 am. Come and bring your chairs and blankets. Free lemonade served.

Music

Summer Prelude Music Series
Throughout the summer we will feature local musicians who will provide prelude music to our 10:00 am Sunday morning service. Preludes will begin approximately 10 minutes prior to the service.

Summer Choir
Come and sing at the 10:00 am service in a fun and informal choir. Rehearsals are at 9:15 am in the church. Drop by any week that you are available. This is a great way to meet others and check out St. Stephen's vibrant Music Ministry.

Mission

Intergenerational Belize Mission Trip - June 6-14
Youth and adults from St. Stephen's will be returning to Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro, Belize this summer. Learn more 

Summer in the City Junior High Mission Trip - June 17-19, 2009
Junior High students will be staying at Gethsemane Episcopal Church in downtown Minneapolis this summer where they will be working at various outreach projects in small groups of 6-8 young people.

Senior High Mission Trip to Cabrini Green - June 21-27
Senior high youth will return to the Cabrini Green projects in Chicago, Illinois this summer. During their stay they will paint and clean apartments of senior citizens and handicapped individuals. Learn more

Creek Blessing - Sunday, May 31
Our first annual blessing of the creek will take place on Sunday, May 31, at 5:45 p.m. We'll gather outside by the waters of Minnehaha Creek for prayers and a little singing, followed by a cookout on the front lawn of the church. This fun event is open to the whole community, so come and bring your friends and neighbors with you!

Taizé Prayer - First Fridays
Our popular Taizé Prayer is held on the first Friday of June, August and September this summer (no Taizé Prayer in July). Learn more

Looking for something great to do this summer? If you are going into grades 3-12 join us for the annual Episcopal Youth Music Camp held in the beautiful setting of Camp Heartland. You will be able to enjoy both music and the great outdoors.

Summer Compass - Beginning June 7, 9:00 am Sundays
Stories on the Porch: All God’s Children Got Stories! Compass is back this summer with a new series of Sunday morning Adult Formation classes. Come to hear fellow parishioners tell their faith stories, and learn with friends how to shape your own spiritual narrative. Learn more

Compass Breakfast - Sundays @ 8:30 am
Join Compass for breakfast this summer in the Commons Room each Sunday beginning at 8:30 am. There will be casual, light fare for the entire family. Cost is $1 per item.
