	The Johnny Appleseed Bash

The Johnny Appleseed Bash is a one day family fun event intended to celebrate our church community, honor our local heritage, and generate funds to support St. Stephen's outreach.

We can't be successful without the support of our own church members, so please take a moment to pray about what gifts you can share this year. Plan to attend the Bash and bring your friends! With the fun-filled feeling of a country fair, the Bash offers musical entertainment for the whole family, food, games with cool prizes, a Sunday's Best children's clothing boutique, and crafts for boys and girls.

All profits from the Bash go directly to St. Stephen's many Outreach Ministries!

Mark Your Calendars! The Church Lady returns ~ This year's Johnny Appleseed Bash Gala and Slient Auction will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008. More details will be posted shortly.
Back by popular demand the Sunday's Best Sale Returns to the Bash ~ It's that time of year again! As you do your spring cleaning, please remember to set aside items for the Sunday's Best Sale happening this fall during the Johnny Appleseed Bash. we are looking for: church, party, flower girl or first communion dresses, Sunday/holiday sweaters, boys suits, dress coats, outerwear, hats & mittens, dress shoes, snow boots, children's gift baskets and any new or very gently used clothing. Items may be dropped off at the church starting later this summer. For questions to volunteer, please contact Sue Bizal through the church office.

Help the Bash!

Volunteer Online - We need lots of volunteers to make the Bash Successful. There is a place for everyone with lot's of flexibility in terms of time of day and tasks!
Plan on attending the Bash (invite your friends and neighbors too!) The Johnny Appleseed Bash is a great community event to invite friends and family to -- it's also a terrific way to introduce people to St. Stephen's.
Unable to volunteer or attend the Bash? Consider a monetary donation to off-set the costs of the event. Checks should be written and mailed to St. Stephen's -- please include a notation on the check that the money is to be given the "The Bash".
Donate Prizes! We are looking for all kinds of prizes (new or gently used) especially in the $5-10 range. You can drop them off at the church office.
